Cookie & Tracking Policy
This policy explains how the Card9 platform, operated by Rudraayaan AI Technologies Private Limited, uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit card9.in or any Card9-hosted shop. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use equivalent technologies such as localStorage and pixels. We group them below by purpose.
2. Strictly necessary
Required for the platform to function — you cannot opt out of these without breaking the site. They carry no marketing data.
- Session / authentication — keeps you signed in to your shop dashboard or buyer account.
- Security & CSRF — protects form submissions and login from forgery.
- Preferences — remembers basic UI choices.
3. Analytics
We use PostHog to understand aggregate usage (pages viewed, broad funnel steps) so we can improve the product. These are loaded only where enabled and are configured to minimise personal data.
4. Error monitoring
We use Sentry to capture crashes and errors so we can fix them. It collects technical diagnostic data, not marketing profiles.
5. Advertising / measurement
Where a campaign is active, we may use the Meta Pixel and Google measurement tags to attribute sign-ups. These are off by default and only activate once the relevant account IDs are configured. Our Content-Security-Policy permits only the named providers above.
6. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out and break parts of the platform. You can also opt out of most analytics via your browser's "Do Not Track" / Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour where supported.
